7 Incredible Everyday Carries for Fall 2021

For me, Fall means more pockets, more gear, and more copper.

I started making my own wallets after I was disappointed by other thin and minimalist wallets that I’ve tried. After a few attempts, I fell onto this design that’s just a leather sleeve that can friction fit anywhere from 4-7 cards. It doesn’t get thinner than this. (Olive Branch Leather Co on Etsy)

I finally got my hands on a Newtron 2 from TRM and it’s quickly become my favorite. Smooth and extremely sharp right out of the box.

My AAP has become a no-touch tool and bottle opener during this pandemic. Thin, strong, infinite uses and disappears in the pocket.

This is what’s on me no matter if it’s normal clothes or scrubs.

I’ve been using the Apple Watch more and more for fitness tracking and notifications when I can’t have my phone out. I chose a smaller one cause I prefer smaller watches in general.

The wallet has been hands down my favorite and it’s made in my hometown. I’m always willing to try out a new one but so far I keep going back to this.

Love the site setup and updates you’re doing, keep on knolling

This is my Fall carry for those times I don’t want to haul around a ton of brass. One of my favorite fall colors is maroon, I even matched the scales of the Axon to my maroon boots. I love the Axon still and having a few scale options now gives it a different look with the same great feel. The Micro Arcadian was a great pickup and the size is great. I got the Peña Pen during a run on Urben EDC supply and it is built like a tank, great action as always from a Peña product. I’m a big fan of Vero’s work and, to me, the Mini Fulcrum is a must-have for tripod mounts and its ability to disappear in a 5th pocket is handy.

Hope you had a great summer, now bring on the fall EDC.

Seeking

I would love to see more simple pocket clips for the gear I own. That is one of my favorite parts of the fulcrum. I would love a better clip for the Micro Arcadian.

My circle of friends doesn’t usually understand why I always carry a knife. Moreover, they do not understand why a single knife costs almost $600. I’m glad to find a community online that understands and appreciates. About the knife, the Strider SNG is starting to grow on me. I used to think that they are really overrated, and that’s why I used to stick with Hinderer and Chris Reeve knives. But when I held it, I felt how sturdy and how comfortable the ergonomics of this knife were.

I picked up the wallet on a whim on Instagram when I saw the color since green is my favorite. Plus, I knew the quality would be exceptional. For the key organizer, after trying out the Orbitkey, quite carry, Keysmart, and DIY solutions I finally settled on the keybar as I like the feel. I find the design works best for me.

The Demkowas is a recent acquisition from the Demko Facebook group. By far one of the coolest knives I own and can only be described by the oh-so-satisfying *click clack click clack click clack*. Lastly, the pen I use is the Refyne EP1. I haven’t ventured too far into pens, though the Fellhoelters are really tempting. The EP1 is fun to fidget with and compact without feeling too small in my hands.

Seeking

I’m not really looking for anything specific to add but if there are any suggestions like a utility knife or pry bar, I’m open to it.

I know the whole pouch thing seems odd but it’s a great way to be able to carry extra items I might need throughout the day and keep my pocket toys together without having to consume all my pocket space. It just rides in my back right pocket and I forget it’s there until I need it. The RE’s are a fun way of making it your own and I change them up constantly.

I think I got a nice compact EDC that has been quite steady for a long time. There are two changes that are quite recent that might be interesting. I swapped my prybar for a SAK because the SAK has a prybar and many other useful things. I love the look of a prybar and the functionality is OK. But it’s also quite limited for the space it takes. The SAK does 90% of what a prybar does, and a lot more. For the handkerchief, I just became a father this year, and wearing a handkerchief is no longer optional. With the baby, I always need one and I’m considering carrying two!

Cheers, good luck with your endeavors.
