Tan Law Enforcement Everyday Carry - BigFoot (@bigfoote)

I didn’t know that bigfoot had small enough hands to hold a Glock, or powerful enough brain functions to pass Police Academy. Despite such setbacks, it seems Bigfoot (@bigfoote on Instagram, go check if he’s the cryptid or not) sends in his carry dedicated to protecting and serving. What if this EDC is how he evaded capture this whole time?

I am an active LE officer and live by the creed of providing safety for those around me. Most items in my EDC reflect my mindset of having the tools I need to help others whether it’s something as simple as tightening screws or a task as devastating as defending the life of another.

I am also an EDC geek and absolutely love your show and what you are doing with the community. As you can see I am a sucker for the color tan. The Zippo was a hard one to come by as desert tan is not a common color, I ended up having to buy a vintage 1991 Desert Storm edition Zippo and sanding off the desert camo graphics to get the color I liked. I do not smoke but for some reason a Zippo Lighter is my perfect “fidget” item while also giving a means of making fire.

For the most part, these items go with me everywhere at all times and I use all the pieces of gear regularly, each piece has been hand picked and tailored to my very specific (tan, tan, more tan) taste without sacrificing utility.

I have been looking for a smaller multi-tool in coyote tan as well as a more durable matching pen. Unfortunately, I missed the Tactile Turn Overlander pen as it is my absolute favorite pen I have ever seen.

Taylor: You could definitely look for the Overlander pen on the secondary market, but it won’t be cheap. Another option is the Rite in the Rain x Fisher Space Pen Click in the Flat Dark Earth colorway. Other than that, the closest I could really recommend is buying a standard Tactile Turn and bronze anodizing it yourself — but that turns dark very quickly and won’t be exactly tan.
