tinderZIP™

The tinderZIP is a zipper pull with a waterproof, flammable inner core, so tinder is permanently attached to gear you already carry. Add one to jackets, packs, and tents and you never have to remember to pack tinder. In an emergency, strip the sheath, pull the red core, scrape and fluff the end, and light it from a spark: it burns like a wick for about a minute.
